Our natural produce
We-Farm, Tenuta Valdorso’s Farm, produces the same fruit & vegetables used to prepare most of the dishes served at our We-Food Restaurant. The aromatic herb garden also allows us to produce dry herbs sold in glass jars.
Tenuta Valdorso is part of a town that adheres to the “Biodistretto Suol d’Aleramo”, which is a territory made up of municipalities in the Piedmontese Appennine area that have chosen “good living” as their goal, an idea defined as “safeguarding the health of living beings, physically, psychologically and socially.”
In a territory like the Monferrato, where wine is considered a real lifestyle, the farm also boasts its own production of two wines: the Svolta and the Saggio.
Both are red wines produced from Barbera grapes, with an authentic taste that really gets the blood flowing.
“Svolta” is a young table wine, while “Saggio” is aged in oak casks for 12 months.
Our pure saffron pistils are the true pride of all of We-Farm’s different products.
The nobility of this cultivation perfectly marries with the concept of the agri-resort. “The luxury of naturalness”, in fact, is the idea that drives most of our choices, and is, moreover, the concept behind We.Food’s cuisine.
Today, around 10,000 Crocus Sativus bulbs are cultivated in the We.Farm garden.
The quantity of saffron produced fully meets demand in the restaurant and can also be packaged and sold to guests.
Tenuta Valdorso prepares gift packs or party favors made up of its own artisanal products, perfectly concocted to present guests with unique experiences during their special events.
