The Valdorso staff
Over Time, the whole staff slowly joined Sara and Emiliano.
Today they have become a close-knit group of colleagues who want to pass their passion and devotion for their work on to the guests, recognizing guests’ demands and working to satisfy them to the highest degree possible.
Always believe and never give up!
Born in1979, Sara received her highschool diploma in accounting/programming in 1998 at the Carlo Cattaneo Institute in Milan. After that, in 2000 she obtained her university degree in Marketing and Comunication at the Academy of Comunications Studies in Milano.
She accrued several years’ experience in marketing and sales in diverse sectors: software, and both international and national company relocation.
In 2011, she began her Valdorso adventure: a new challenge in a totally new sector for her. A brief restaurant experience in Formentera and her great passion for travelling have given her the chance to live, see and experience many places around the world, which are of fundamental importance in terms of her contribution.
In the marvellous voyage that is life, only you can decide if you want to go beyond!
Born in 1983, Emiliano received his highschool diploma in agricultural techniques in 2002, at the Giordano dell’Amore Institute in Vertemate con Minoprio. In 2007, he obtained his university degree in Public Relations and Advertising at IULM University in Milan.
He’s always been passionate about “on the road”-style trips. Emiliano loves discovering and learning about flora e fauna from regions all around the world, just like he loves discovering different cultures and marvels from the past.
Today, he deals with many aspects of business at the Farmstead, amongst which his agricultural duties at We.Farm, and most importantly, growing “his” saffron.
Elisa is certified by the Acqui Terme CFP Hospitality and Hotel Training Institute. She became part of the “Valdorso” team in the spring of 2015 and, after a long shadow-training and practical training period, she worked as commis, and then sous chef before earning her position as Head chef at the We-Food restaurant.
Elisa is a young, shy chef, who expresses herself and all her world through the dishes she creates.
The great passion she shows for her job, painstaking searches for top-notch ingredients, her massive creativity and strong predisposition towards teamwork all make for the right balance that ensures dishes are always new and innovative.
Working with creativity.
Sandro has a hand in every aspect of the farm and the agri-resort. To define him as a handy-man wouldn’t by any means do him justice: he’s a person you can trust, and without him things would be very complicated.
After an independent enterpreneurial experience of his own, he met Emiliano and Sara by chance. Not long after, he became part of the “Valdorso Family”
Accuracy, flexibility, fantastic manual ability, patience and perseverance are the qualities that counterdistinguish the “Old man” on the team, who always manages to interpret (and tame!) Sara’s creativity and translate it into innovations that bring every new season at the Tenuta Valdorso to life.
If you want something done, do it yourself!
What does “Have an ace up your sleeve” mean?
It means you have a secret answer, a resource no one expects, that can fix all the most complex of problems.
Francesca is the “ace” up Tenuta Valdorso’s sleeve.
She’s an incredibly important asset to the team during the summer months. Over the years, she has no doubt known how to carve out her space here, not only in terms of work but also as a member of the group.
Francesca is a cheerful, open girl who is always full of energy and is always ready to help the other members of the team
