The Ametist Room is a junior suite with about 30 sq. metres of floor space, modern and refined furnishings, bamboo flooring, large windows and exposed ceiling beams.
In the event a guest books a Junior or Superior Suite, the Valdorso staff will do everything in their power to satisfy requests for specific rooms, however if it is not possible, another room belonging to the same class will be automatically assigned.
Ametist
The ametist is the most precious stone in the quartz family.
High-ranking ecclesiastical figures wore them for centuries as a symbol of mercy, humility, sincerity and spiritual wisdom.Moreover, its purplish colour is symbolic of wealth and nobility; so much so that ametists are often encrusted as part of royal jewelry (for example, the British crown jewels!).
Ametists are usually given as gifts for fourth, sixth and seventeenth wedding anniversaries.
